A little about me (Deanna- the Attorney):
Before pursuing a law degree, I was an Emergency Medical Technician and worked as a Nursing Assistant. I also worked in food service as a restaurant manager, was a supervisor for Denver Public Schools Food Service and spent time as an investigator for Denver Public Health and Environment.
Through those jobs I learned the value of listening, problem-solving, work ethic, and integrity. While working alongside attorneys in my former careers, I found myself drawn to understanding law and advocacy, which eventually led me down the path to attend law school and become a licensed attorney.
During law school I worked as a realtor while balancing time with my son and husband. I interned with the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Clinic’s Family Law Section, volunteered with the University’s Tribal Wills Program, and Wills Lab that provides Wills for people free of charge, where I developed a deep passion for getting to know my client so I could provide guidance tailored for their individual goals.
Currently I give back to my community by volunteering with Denver Metro Volunteer Lawyers Family Law Court Program to represent clients in court with family matters who otherwise could not afford representation. 
I am married and have a teenage son, and two poodles. Not only am I a mom, but I have experienced divorces between my own parents (they have eight marriages between the two of them) which provides me with firsthand experience of the challenges and complexities that divorce can present to families.
I understand that family matters are deeply personal, and I strive to provide thoughtful legal options, so clients feel supported every step of the way.
